Creating Statuses

For Kit Types:CRM, MCA CRM (iMerchant), BPO, ERP, VoIP, IVR


This video is a walkthrough of one of the BPO Kit’s most valued features: the ability to create your own statuses. Though we have other videos highlighting the System Statuses tool on the BPO Kit site, this video demonstrates how to create a status, and disposition different records to it. This feature is useful for all users of the BPO Kit, as it allows one to create new queues through which he or she may organize leads.

 

You may access System Statuses by clicking Tools & Reports, then Management Tools, then System Statuses. Then, scroll all the way to the bottom, where you will see the fields to create a new status.

 

  • In the first field, enter the Name of your status.
  • In the second field, change Set As Milestone to No.
  • In the last field, keep Milestone Index set to 0.

*If you would like this status to be set as a milestone, we recommend that you contact us first, so that we may help you plan things out.

 

Once the three fields are complete, click Submit New, and you will see your new status listed above.

 

To change a lead to this new status, launch the desired lead. When you click on the drop-down menu to disposition the lead, you’ll see that the new status which you created is listed. Select the status, then click the Save Business button, to save your changes. As a result, this record is successfully filtered into this your new status’ queue.
